The Trinamool Chhatra Parishad celebrated its foundation day with great fervor, with prominent leaders including Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the party's National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee gracing the event. The event took place near the Mahatma Gandhi statue situated on Mayo Road.

In her passionate address, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee lashed out at the BJP and its allies for using controversial slogans like 'Goli Maro...' (Shoot them...). She challenged them by saying, "If you have guts, shoot. Let me see." She announced that she had given instructions to the police to arrest anyone who raises or will raise such slogans in the state, underlining her commitment to maintaining law and order.

Mamata Banerjee further touched on various issues:

1. Defiance Against Arrest Threats: Addressing rumors of her nephew Abhishek Banerjee's potential arrest before the elections, she asserted that she wasn't afraid and declared her determination to counter the BJP using various strategies.

2. Promises for Bengal Colleges: She pledged to hold elections in all colleges, emphasizing her focus on democratic representation. She also revealed plans to introduce a bill after Durga Puja and vowed to arrest anyone engaging in fraudulent activities. This comment comes after the Jadavpur University on-going matter.

3. National and State Unity: Mamata Banerjee highlighted the achievements of Indians abroad, from Nasa to various other fields, but expressed her concern about dependency within India. She affirmed that in Bengal, the slogan would be 'Jai Bangla' , while outside Bengal, it would be 'Jai INDIA".

The event showcased the strong resolve of the Trinamool Chhatra Parishad and the leadership's determination to face challenges head-on while championing the state's interests and unity on both state and national levels.
